How Red Letter Events started...

Sitting in my cubical day in and day out. I found myself 24 years old and sitting at a job I couldn't stand to be at. With little to no communication with other people, rarely ever knowing what the weather was outside, I knew I had to make a change. I worked for a company that offered me great benefits, incredible pay and stability. However, I was beyond unhappy.

Fast forward a few months later and there I was on Christmas Day watching my high school sweetheart down on one knee. The day every girl dreams of. The day he finally put a ring on it! It didn't take me long before designing a wedding binder, buying an abundance of highlighter pens, and pinning on Pinterest every evening. I planned my wedding from start to finish in only 6 months of time.

The day of my wedding was without a doubt the happiest day of my life. My husband and I found ourselves surrounded by love ones. Guests that had traveled half way across the U.S to be with us. The day itself was spectacular! Guests dressed to the nine. Cocktails flowing. Blush pink, cream and white florals dripping from every strategically created floral arrangement. It was the day I had dreamt for.

Shortly thereafter, returning from our honeymoon (Bermuda), wedded bliss faded into the reality of unhappiness at the job I faced. It wasn't until this day were I had my ah-ha moment. This was the career path I was supposed to take in life. With no instruction manual on how to be a successful wedding planner, I took the plunge and started my business Red Letter Events. With the permission and support from my amazing husband, I left my stable job, and have focused my full attention on Red Letter Events.

Over the years, I've had the honor to work with amazing vendors, meet incredible clients and build the foundation of my business. I have created the career of my dreams!

(P.S - Thank you Collin for your support. I am doing what I love.)
